diy K-3 Sit Stand Student Desks using existing student sit desk

Adapting an existing classroom sitting table or desk to a sit stand option typically works for K-3 sized students only. For young students, the sitting tables adjustable legs are tall enough to go to 30" - 33" and at that height this now can become a standing table.

For the example on the left, we raised the triangle desks to 30" in a second grade classroom. I then purchased four 24" wooden stools at Walmart. These stools cost only $15.74 a piece and that's the best deal I could find anywhere. BTW, the kids love the option to sit on the stool, or push it back and stand while working.
